Here are answers to some common questions when renting this Poconos vacation house.
Q: What are the check in / check out times?
A: Check-in time is 4pm and check-out 10am unless you make prior arrangements with us.
Q: Are we expected to clean when we leave?
A: Your cleaning fee covers a deep clean prior to and after your visit however guests who are respectful of the properties are appreciated. You are expected to put things back where you found them, the cleaning crew doesn’t know where things belong.
Q: Are Lake Naomi’s amenities included in the rental?
A: No they are not, Lake Naomi charges an extra fee for a temporary membership to use their amenities.
Additionally, Lake Naomi has changed the structure of their temporary membership program and as a result, we can no longer provide temporary memberships.
Q: How do we get keys when we arrive?
A: This house features keyless entry. You’ll receive an email with all the information you need for your stay as well as a keycode that will work for the duration of your stay.
Q: Is the kitchen fully stocked?
A: Yes, the kitchen is fully stocked with plenty of plates, cups, glasses, silverware, wine glasses, bottle opener, rice cooker/steamer, waffle maker, blender, 12 cup coffee maker, Keurig, a toaster oven and a microwave. There are also plenty of bowls, serving trays, cooking utensils and cutting trays. And of course you’ll also find the standard appliances that you would expect to have in the home. 🙂
Q: Are linens provided?
A: Yes, linens are provided. We provide blankets, comforters, pillows, sheets and towels during your stay.
Q: Is there a washer & dryer available for use?
A: Yes there is a high capacity washer & dryer available for you to use.
Q: Does the house have a TV? A DVD player?
A: Yes there are TVs in every bedroom, a TV in the living room, great room, game room and dining room. There is a Blu-Ray DVD player in the great room and all of the TVs have a Roku connected to them which have apps like Netflix and Pandora.
Q: Is internet access available?
A: Yes, there is high speed WiFi (500 mbps) for laptops and mobile devices in the house and a PC in the office area. In fact, there are wifi repeaters throughout the house so you will have a strong signal everywhere. 🙂
Q: Can we bring our dog?
A: We do occasionally allow dogs for an additional fee. We would need to approve the dog and a pet waiver would need to be signed.
Q: What is your cancellation/refund policy?
A: A 30 day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made 30 (thirty) days or more in advance of the scheduled check-in date will receive a full refund of the deposit held. Cancellations made within 15-29 days before check-in date will receive 50% of the deposit. Cancellations made within 14 days of check-in date will not receive any refund.
Changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 30 days of arrival date, will not result in any prorating, refunds, or reduction in rents.
Early departure, does not warrant any refund of rent or deposit.
Q: How will I receive my confirmation and arrival instructions?
A: All confirmation and arrival instructions will be sent via email. To make certain you receive these emails, please adjust your spam filter to add the domain feels-like-heaven.com to your list of accepted email addresses. You will receive a reservation confirmation including directions and arrival instructions via email within minutes of making your reservation. Q: Is there shopping near by?
A: Yes, there is a huge outlet mall (The Crossings Premium Outlets) roughly 15 minutes away.
If you’re looking to do grocery shopping the gas station close by has the common items you would need in a pinch.
For your bulk grocery shopping there are 4 supermarkets that are close by (10-15 minutes drive) Wal-Mart, K-Mart, ShopRite and Weis.
Q: How many people are allowed to stay and what is the age requirement?
A: Occupancy may not exceed the maximum of 10 people including any children. The individual making the reservation must be 26 years of age or older and must occupy the rental property the entire term of the reservation.
Q: What about Lost and Found?
A: Please remember all your belongings on your departure from the house. Feels-Like-Heaven is not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen personal items left in the house. A $25.00 service fee is charged in addition to shipping cost if we are required to mail your forgotten items.
