Here are a bunch of Poconos fishing spots that you’ll be able to go to outside of Lake Naomi.
Keep in mind that during your stay in Lake Naomi you’ll have the option of fishing on any of Lake Naomi’s 3 lakes… of course you’ll need to purchase a temporary Lake Naomi Membership in order to do that.
The membership gives you access to everything that Lake Naomi offers, but if you aren’t planning on using the amenities then you may find it to cost prohibitive to get the membership just to be able to fish in Lake Naomi.
There are many fishing areas close to Lake Naomi where you can have a great fishing experience, here are a few of the most popular Poconos fishing spots.

Gouldsboro State Park
This is a great park to take your family fishing. While there, you can have a picnic, walk the trails & rent boats during the warm weather seasons (Memorial Day to Labor Day).
The wildlife is plentiful. If you’re in luck, you’ll see a bald eagle fly over the lake or spot a nest on a nearby tree.
You can also do night fishing from a boat or from the shoreline. It’s a great way to relax. The park office will let you know which locations are open to this activity.
In the winter, you can also go ice fishing.

At Angler’s Cove, they offer a Hike and Fishing package. You’ll have a guided tour of the beautiful forests where you’ll see a variety of wildlife, birds and beautiful scenery.
At the end of your hike, you can catch your lunch and the local guide will prepare your catch and cook your catch on the open campfire.
You can also order hot dogs, side salads and drinks from their menu.
Of course, if you just want enjoy a day of fishing; there is the fish & pay option. They will also clean your catch and vacuum pack it for your trip back home.
For those in your group that don’t fish, they can go gemstone mining for Agate, Amethyst, Rainbow Quartz, Tiger Eye, Jasper, Manetic and Hematite.

Big Brown Fish Hatchery
A great place for the kids to experience fishing – large trout & bass.
The water is crisp and clean and fish are very healthy. They will also fillet the fish for you.
They have 2 trout ponds and one bass pond!
